This morning I walked to the village and saw a few things. I had breakfast, a café con leche with a ham and cheese sandwich (£1.6). The server, Manuela is a co-owner with her partner Sandra. These establishments are very common and they sell everything from water and coffee to beer and wine, sandwiches - to go or to stay. Manuela´s accent is very strong and she has as much difficulty with my Spanish as I do with her Portuguese. Still, with the help of a delivery van driver we were all able to communicate.
Tuesday 9/21
It has been a week since I touched this page but I think I´ve posted stuff over time on the other categories. Tomorrow I will take an overnight trip to Bilbao to meet some CouchSurfer friends for a get together and a couple of social hours. At last count there were 9-people from 3-4 countries. On Friday I´ll return to see what the weekend plans are. Maybe I´ll even get to see one of the films from the film festival going on here at San Sebastian. Still lots to see in the next week.

Diego H has been a big help and I saw him last night with 20-others. Lots of others tracking me as I move about. They offer things to see, do, avoid. All help is appreciated and a good reflection on humanity.
